Into the Light
He dreamed of her only once after she died.
Someone was waiting, silhouetted at the door. About to leave she turned, surprised - seeing him.
With a startled "Oh," she ran and held him close, whispering in his ear. "I will love you forever."
Then she was gone - into the light.

It is the strangest thing, but I have no recollection of writing this. Amnesia? Or perhaps it was another Rod Duncan. I would like to have written it though. He must be a good writer, that Rod Duncan.
